- Manufacturers of medications do not sell to online pharmacies or many retail stores. This means they are not certain of how the medications available there are obtained, stored, if they are authentic, if they are expired, etc. The manufacturers will stand behind their products if purchased through a veterinary clinic, but not if obtained elsewhere. The guarantee with some medications such as flea and tick products or heartworm and intestinal parasite preventatives is well worth your peace of mind.

- We know your pet and your situation-we check dosing, medication interactions, allergies, and which medications are being dispensed for what conditions to minimize errors in filling prescriptions.
