Health Screenings

This important test combines a heartworm test with a screening profile to determine organ function (i.e. liver, kidneys), and a complete blood count to look for infection or anemia.

Heritage Animal Hospital offers a wide variety of laboratory testing for your pet. We feel that regular laboratory testing allows us to catch changes early, which allows us to be proactive in preventing, slowing, or treating diseases. We recommend yearly blood work for all pets in the form of our annual health screen. We also may recommend additional testing based on your pet’s situation and symptoms. We have an in house laboratory as well as utilizing an outside laboratory to allow us to do more in depth testing. Most of our lab results come in next day, but a few of the tests can take 5-7 days or longer. We will let you know when to expect results and will call as soon as we get the results in.

Below is a listing of our most common tests, if we can help you with any of these please let us know. Don’t see what you’re looking for?  Please ask as this is not an all-inclusive list.
